Why Should I Get My HVAC System Cleaned?

According to the EPA, Americans, on average, spend approximately 90 percent of their time indoors,1 where the concentrations of some pollutants are often 2 to 5 times higher than typical outdoor concentrations.2

Air handling systems, simply put, are the lungs of a building - air gets sucked in to them and then pushed back out into the living space. According to the American Lung Association, each day we take some 20,000 breaths, about 7.5 million breaths each year. Since 90% of those are taken indoors, it makes sense to pay attention to indoor air quality and service the systems that facilitate it.
